Real Madrid have reportedly entered talks with Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich over a potential transfer.
The 29-year-old is said to be attracting interest from many of Europe's top club sides, including Premier League champions Manchester City and Barcelona.
Kimmich has been a key figure for the Bavarians in the Bundesliga so far this term under Vincent Kompany, scoring one goal and providing five assists across 18 top-flight contests.
The midfielder is also a major part of his international team, representing Germany on 97 occasions since his senior debut at the start of 2016.
Kimmich is arguably heading towards legend status at Allianz Arena, having played 418 competitives matches for Bayern since joining during the summer of 2015.

Real Madrid in contact with Bayern Munich's Kimmich?
According to transfer specialist Christian Falk, Kimmich's decade-long stay with the Bavarian giants could be approaching its conclusion this year.
The report claims that the 29-year-old and European champions Real Madrid have entered talks over a possible switch for the player to Spain.
It is understood that Kimmich currently prefers a potential move to Carlo Ancelotti's side over the likes of Man City or fellow La Liga outfit Barcelona.
However, it is believed that the German remains in talks with Bayern Munich over extending his stay at Allianz Arena into a second decade.
Kimmich is likely to be at the heart of Kompany's side when the Bundesliga pacesetters visit the home of Freiburg on Saturday afternoon.

Where should Kimmich go?
With the era of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos coming to an end at the Bernabeu, there is certainly room for a successor in the Real Madrid midfield.
Also, the prospect of providing balls for the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior may prove to be too good an opportunity to turn down for the German.
Liverpool were in desperate need of an engine-room enforcer during the summer, although the Reds have since coped superbly with Ryan Gravenberch and Alexis Mac Allister operating in the middle of the park.
