Team News: Joe Hart keeps Manchester City place

Joe Hart will continue in goal for Manchester City against Everton despite some recent mistakes.

Manuel Pellegrini has kept faith with Joe Hart for Manchester City's home clash with Everton this afternoon.

The England goalkeeper made two errors last time out against Bayern Munich, but he will continue between the posts at the Etihad Stadium.

Meanwhile, Joleon Lescott has been installed at centre-back alongside captain Vincent Kompany and there is also a place for James Milner in midfield.

Visiting Everton have made one enforced change because Gareth Barry, who is on loan from today's hosts, is ineligible. He has been replaced by Scottish midfielder Steven Naismith.

Man City: Hart; Zabaleta, Kolarov, Kompany, Lescott; Milner, Fernandinho, Toure, Silva; Aguero, Negredo

Everton: Howard; Baines, Distin, Jagielka, Coleman; McCarthy, Osman, Naismith, Barkley, Mirallas; Lukaku
