The Sky Blues captain has missed the last 10 matches through injury, but returns to their first team to partner Martin Demichelis at the back.

Saido Berahino has been handed a recall by the hosts, partnering Shane Long up front, while Claudio Yacob has been drafted into the midfield.

Costel Pantilimon continues in goal for City, with Joe Hart remaining benched.
