Barcelona have reportedly made a new offer for Manchester City centre-back Eric Garcia.
The Catalan giants are said to be determined to re-sign the Spain international, who has turned down the chance to sign a new deal with City, before Monday's transfer deadline.
According to Marca, Barca have made a new bid of €5m (£4.5m) plus add-ons, but Pep Guardiola's side swiftly turned down the approach as they are not prepared to drop their valuation.
Despite Garcia's contract expiring next summer, City have allegedly set a €30m (£27.2m) asking price for the teenager, while a recent report claimed that the Catalan giants were only prepared to offer €10m (£9m).
Guardiola's team, meanwhile, are reportedly still confident of convincing the defender to sign a new contract at the Etihad Stadium if they are able to keep him beyond Monday's transfer deadline.
The 19-year-old left Barca in 2017 to join City and has made 25 first-team appearances for the English club.
