Manchester City's move for Schalke 04 attacker Leroy Sane could be in doubt after reports that Bayern Munich are preparing to make an approach.
Last week, it was reported that the 20-year-old had agreed a four-year deal with the Premier League club ahead of a £46.5m move.
However, according to Bild, Bayern could scupper the transfer as they have contacted Schalke about Sane possibly moving to the Allianz Arena to replace injured Arjen Robben.
The Dutch international is expected to be on the sidelines for the next six weeks, which has pushed the Bundesliga giants to find a new player.
