Leroy Sane appears to be closing in on a move to Manchester City after reportedly agreeing personal terms.
The Schalke 04 attacker, who was part of the Germany squad at Euro 2016, has been heavily linked with the two-time Premier League champions in recent months.
Reports have claimed that the 20-year-old has agreed to join Pep Guardiola's side on a four-year contract, but the club are yet to lodge an official bid.
According to Bild, City are preparing to table a £46.5m offer, which is in the region of Schalke's asking price.
Should City decide to wait until the end of next season, Sane will cost the North-West outfit £31.3m due to a buyout clause, but the player is believed to be keen to join the English club now.
Sane scored nine goals in 42 appearances in all competitions for Schalke last season.
