It has been speculated that Kevin de Bruyne will reject a reported opportunity to move to Manchester City by extending his contract with Wolfsburg.
The former Chelsea playmaker is believed to have held a number of meetings with City's sporting director Txiki Begiristain in recent weeks.
However, the 23-year-old has decided instead to sign a new deal at the Volkswagen Arena, which is likely to expire in the summer of 2020, according to Bild.
De Bruyne scored 10 goals and assisted a further 20 for his teammates in the Bundesliga last term.
