Nigel de Jong has revealed that he is hoping to stay at Manchester City beyond the summer.
The Dutch international, who has 12 months remaining on his current deal at the Etihad Stadium, has been linked with a number of European clubs.
However, having won two trophies in the last two seasons, the 27-year-old has admitted that he would like to win more medals with the Citizens.
"My contract runs for another year, so I'm in a pretty good position," De Jong told NUsport.
"I want to stay [at Manchester City]. I've been at the club for three years and I'm feeling really well.
"I have won the FA Cup and the league title, which are the biggest trophies in England."
De Jong joined City in January 2009 from Hamburg.
