Inter Milan have emerged as the favourites to sign Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.
A deal between AC Milan and the Argentine broke down on Thursday after Alexandre Pato's failed move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Milan CEO Adriani Galliani was hoping to use the money from Pato's transfer to fund Tevez's switch.
Inter are now thought to have re-opened informal discussions with City, according to The Mirror.
PSG could also mount a bid for Tevez after their move for Pato collapsed.
