Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing Lyon youngster Tanguy Ndombele.
The 21-year-old, who is part of France's Under-21 setup, has registered four assists in 13 appearances so far this season.
According to The Express, City boss Pep Guardiola is keen on cutting short the midfielder's contract in France and bringing him to Manchester.
The newspaper says that Guardiola, who wants a replacement for 33-year-old Fernandinho in the summer, has sent scouts to watch the midfielder in action ahead of a potential swoop at the end of the season.
City were linked with former Napoli man Jorginho in the most recent transfer window, but the Brazilian opted instead to move to Chelsea.
