Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly maintained his interest in signing Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele.
Ndombele has been linked with a number of clubs in the Premier League, including City who remain keen to find a long-term replacement for Yaya Toure and Fernandinho.
According to Le10 Sport, Guardiola still feels that the young Frenchman can become a permanent fixture in his City squad having watched the player star at the Etihad Stadium in the Champions League.
The 21-year-old played a key role as Lyon registered a 2-1 victory over the Premier League champions last week, and the prospect will get another chance to impress Guardiola later in the group stages.
Ndombele has recently penned a new five-year contract at the Ligue 1 outfit, but that is unlikely to stop big-money offers being made for the player.
