Manchester City could bring as many as four new players to the club this summer, according to a report.

Manchester City could reportedly bring as many as four new players to the club this summer.

City landed a domestic treble last season, following success in the EFL Cup and Premier League by winning the FA Cup.

The Citizens fell short in the Champions League, though, and according to The Mirror, Pep Guardiola's side could look to bring in 'up to four new faces' in this summer's transfer window.

The report claims that City want 'two top-quality players for every single position', but while four new signings could arrive, the English champions are not prepared to break the bank.

Guardiola's team are said to be closing in on a deal for Atletico Madrid midfielder Rodri, while Angelino is expected to re-join the club from PSV Eindhoven.

Juventus's Joao Cancelo is also another potential arrival, while a new centre-back will be signed - potentially Harry Maguire from Leicester City - as Vincent Kompany prepares to leave the Etihad Stadium to take up a player-manager role with Anderlecht.
