Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini insists that he has no plans to sell Sergio Aguero, amid reported interest from Real Madrid.
The Spanish giants are rumoured to be keen on bringing Aguero back to La Liga and are willing to offer striker Gonzalo Higuain in part-exchange.
The Citizens have been linked with a move for the Madrid forward as they look for a potential replacement for Carlos Tevez, whose future at City is still unclear.
While Mancini admits that he is a keen admirer of Higuain's talents, he is adamant that any move for the Argentine would not involve Aguero going in the opposite direction.
"Higuain is a top player, but we don't want to sell Aguero for nothing. It's impossible for us to sell him," said Mancini.
"He will stay here, but if Higuain wants to come here then we are happy."
Aguero is expected to feature for the Premier League leaders when they face Bolton Wanderers on Saturday.
