Newcastle United are reportedly considering a move for Manchester City winger Scott Sinclair.
The 24-year-old started just two Premier League games for the Citizens following his £6m move from Swansea City last summer.
According to The Mirror, the Magpies are lining up a bid for the England Under-21 international, who represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games.
Newly-appointed director of football Joe Kinnear and manager Alan Pardew are believed to be keen on recruiting English players to St James' Park and see Sinclair as an ideal signing.
The former Chelsea trainee scored eight goals for the Swans in their debut season in the Premier League.
Aston Villa, West Bromwich Albion and Southampton are also rumoured to be interested in the player.
