Newcastle United manager Alan Pardew has criticised Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc for his public courting of Yohan Cabaye.
Blanc claimed last week that the France international would give PSG "a lot of options" if he were to join the Ligue 1 champions.
However, Pardew has reacted by claiming that Blanc's comments are disrespectful and asked him to contact him privately if he wishes to pursue Cabaye.
"He can get on the phone to me or make a bid. I think that's the right way to do it," Pardew is quoted as saying in the Daily Mail.
"I think the way [the interest has] come out isn't perhaps respectful to Yohan. That's something I want to talk to him about."
Cabaye was signed from Lille for £4m in 2011.
