Manuel Pellegrini will reportedly be handed a £100m transfer budget to help Manchester City regain the Premier League title.
The 59-year-old is reportedly set to replace the sacked Roberto Mancini at the Etihad Stadium after confirming he and his staff will leave Malaga at the end of the La Liga season.
City are willing to splash the cash again in the summer to close the gap against rivals Manchester United and to improve their performances in the Champions League under their new manager, reports The Mirror.
Citizens sporting director Txiki Begiristain is already reportedly working on a number of deals to add to the City squad with the blessing of Pellegrini.
