Pep Guardiola coy on Claudio Bravo speculation

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola refuses to address rumours that the Premier League outfit are close to signing Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has refused to address rumours that the Premier League outfit are close to bringing Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo to the club.

Guardiola left Joe Hart on the bench for Man City's 2-1 win over Sunderland on the opening weekend of the new campaign amid suggestions that Bravo was heading for the Etihad as the new number one.

However, the Spanish coach remained coy when questioned on his transfer plans ahead of Man City's Champions League playoff first leg against Steaua Bucuresti on Tuesday night.

"I do not think it's the time to talk about the players who are not at Manchester City. I am not going to talk about players at other clubs ahead of perhaps one of the most important games of the season," Guardiola told reporters.

Hart is said to be fearful that he has played his last game for the Citizens, and the England number one is believed to be a loan target for Everton in the final weeks of the summer transfer window.
