Steaua Bucuresti manager Laurentiu Reghecampf has insisted that his side have what it takes to pull off a shock win and end Manchester City's Champions League hopes.
The Romanian outfit, who finished second in Liga I last season, play host to the Citizens in the first leg of their playoff tie at the Arena Nationala on Tuesday.
Despite the odds being stacked against Bucuresti, boss Reghecampf has warned City that confidence is currently high heading into the qualifying fixture in the Romanian capital.
"We saw City play Sunderland and have all the information to play football well and achieve a positive result," BBC Sport quotes him as saying.
"Even if we face a big team, even if we face the best coach in the world with fantastic results, it is a huge chance for us to prove ourselves. I am very confident that we will qualify for the group stage again. We have a strong team and the match starts at 0-0."
Bucuresti won the European Cup in 1985-86, while also finishing as runners-up three years later during their pomp.
