Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo is reportedly interested in joining Atletico Madrid.
The powerful forward moved to England from Sevilla last summer and initially hit the goal trail in the first six months of the season.
The Spaniard's form and indeed appearances tailed off in the latter stages of the campaign, however, which cost him a spot in the La Roja squad for the World Cup.
According to AS, Negredo is keen on a return to Spain, with Atletico long-term admirers of the 28-year-old.
Atletico will lose key striker Diego Costa to Chelsea this summer.
