Five-time Ballon d'Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told his Juventus teammates that he is joining Manchester City this summer.

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly told his Juventus teammates that he is joining Manchester City this summer.

Speculation over the future of the 36-year-old has grown throughout the summer, as the forward has entered the final 12 months of his contract.

Even though Juve vice president Pavel Nedved stated last month that the Portuguese international would stay in Turin, the Serie A club are prepared to sell him this summer as they look to remove his £500,000-a-week salary from their wage bill.

Ronaldo is believed to be seeking one more challenge in the latter years of his iconic career and 'sees himself' playing for Pep Guardiola's side, who are currently the only club interested in his services.

According to Sky Sports News in Italy, Ronaldo has informed his teammates that he plans to return to the Premier League and sign for Man City.

The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has become a target for the Premier League champions after they missed out on the signing of Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, who confirmed he is staying in North London this summer.
