Manchester City defender Pablo Zabaleta does not expect his teammate Sergio Aguero to leave the club any time soon.

Pablo Zabaleta has insisted that his fellow Argentine Sergio Aguero is happy at Manchester City.

Recent reports had suggested that Aguero had decided that he wanted a move to Spain in order to be closer to his son Ben following the break-up of his marriage.

However, Zabaleta believes that the 24-year-old centre-forward is still "enjoying life" in Manchester.

"Sergio is still happy in Manchester. His family came here for Christmas and New Year and he spent some really good time with them," he told reporters.

"Having a happy private life is always important and when problems arise it is never easy because we are only human. But Sergio knows how important he is to City and he is always telling me how he is enjoying life in Manchester."

Aguero joined City in the summer of 2011 from Atletico Madrid.
