Sergio Aguero feels that Manchester City's achievement of winning the Premier League title last season has been undervalued.

Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has insisted that the club do not get the credit they deserve for winning the Premier League title last season.

Aguero feels City's achievement's are quickly dismissed because they have spent big money in the transfer market, but the Argentine striker thinks that only Barcelona can claim to have a different policy.

He said: "Some people say this team was built only through money, as if other clubs weren't.

"I want to be clear, only Barcelona have footballers from their youth system. The rest of the clubs, including us, don't. Sometimes I think people don't value what we have done, we are the Premier League champions.

"We won the title even when Man United were ahead of us by lots of points. We didn't give up and we fought until the end. We were definitely the best team."

Aguero's last-gasp winner against Queens Park Rangers, which secured the title in dramatic circumstances, was chosen by FIFA as one of the 12 most memorable moments of last year.
