Robert Lewandowski is confident that he can score against Joe Hart when Poland host England in a 2014 World Cup qualifier on Tuesday.

Poland international striker Robert Lewandowski has insisted that England goalkeeper Joe Hart is not "unbeatable".

The two players will confront each other for their respective countries during their 2014 World Cup qualifier in Warsaw on Tuesday.

Lewandowski came up against Hart during Borussia Dortmund's Champions League clash with Manchester City earlier this month that ended in a 1-1 draw and now wants to score against England at home.

"Hart had his day but no two games are ever the same," he is quoted as saying in The Daily Mail. "Just because he managed to do something in Manchester doesn't mean he will be able to repeat it in Warsaw.

"To be honest, we Dortmund players helped him a little bit in Manchester - and so did the post and the crossbar! Besides, we scored one goal so it's not like he is unbeatable or something. We can score past him.

"Maybe one goal like that will give Poland three points on Tuesday, and I hope to score it."

Lewandowski then pointed out England's problems in defence.

"We know England have had some defensive problems and we might just be able to surprise them," said the 24-year-old.

"They're always going to be a difficult team but they didn't play so good at Euro 2012 and maybe we can hit form on the right day."

Poland are currently third in Group H with four points from two matches, while England are at the top with seven points from three matches.
