Matteo Darmian: 'Manchester United out to beat Club Brugge'

Matteo Darmian urges his Manchester United teammates to pick up a positive result from their trip to Belgium.

Manchester United right-back Matteo Darmian has insisted that his side will be "going out to win" against Club Brugge tomorrow evening.

Last week's 3-1 victory in the opening leg of the Champions League qualifier at Old Trafford has left Louis van Gaal's men in a position where a draw would be enough for them to advance through to the group stages of the competition.

However, the summer signing from Torino has stressed that the Red Devils have every intention of collecting a positive result in the Jan Breydel Stadium.

"For us, 0-0 would be a good result but we always try to win and, when we go to Brugge, it will be no different," Darmian told MUTV.

"We know that they are a good team, particularly at home, but we'll be going out to win and we know what we have do. We don't think that it will be easy but it's very important to all the people at the club for us to qualify."

Darmian, 25, has featured in all four of United's competitive encounters this season.
