Sir Alex Ferguson and Nani will not hear today if they are to be punished by UEFA for their respective actions during and after the Champions League exit to Real Madrid earlier this month.

Sir Alex Ferguson and Nani will not find out today the extent of their punishments for their actions during and after Manchester United's Champions League exit to Real Madrid.

UEFA had been expected to deliver its verdict on both matters after sitting today but the earliest a verdict will now be reached is tomorrow.

Portuguese winger Nani will definitely receive a one-match ban for the red card he picked up for a high tackle during United's 2-1 defeat in the second leg of the last-16 clash at Old Trafford earlier this month. This ban could also be increased.

Manager Ferguson could also face a sanction after failing to attend the mandatory post-match press conference.
