Pep Guardiola "very proud" of Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola reveals that he is "very, very proud" of his side's Champions League win over Manchester United.

Pep Guardiola has said that he is "very, very proud" of Bayern Munich's Champions League quarter-final victory over Manchester United.

The German champions won 3-1 at the Allianz Arena this evening, securing a 4-2 victory on aggregate.

The manager told reporters: "It's never easy against an English team. They play solid and quick counter-attacking football and offer very little space to play into.

"[Patrice] Evra scored a great goal for the opener, but we responded immediately. I'm very, very proud of my team."

The defending European champions will face either Atletico Madrid, Chelsea or Real Madrid in the semi-finals.
