Cuneyt Cakir has defended his decision to send off Nani during Manchester United's exit from the Champions League earlier this week.
The Portuguese winger was shown a red card for a high tackle on Alvaro Arbeloa during the Premier League leaders' 2-1 defeat to Real Madrid on Tuesday evening.
The Turkish official told Spanish newspaper AS: "I feel good and I do not doubt my decisions. Nani's red was correct. The world will realise the truth over time.
"In the previous games with the English teams there was no unfair decision. What decision was incorrect? The red to [John] Terry or [Mario] Balotelli? I don't think I made a mistake in showing those cards and sending them off.
"It hasn't made me feel sad. I don't think about it. I've received more criticism on other occasions, but I've always got up and recovered. I can do it again."
UEFA has said that it has no problem with Cakir's performance during the match.
