Wayne Rooney praises 'world-class' Joe Hart

Wayne Rooney describes Joe Hart as the "best keeper in the world".

Wayne Rooney has praised Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart following his performance in the Champions League this evening.

The England shot-stopper pulled off a string of vital saves in the Sky Blues' 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund, and Rooney later described him as the "best keeper in the world".

The Manchester United forward wrote on Twitter after the game: "Have to say Joe Hart has been incredible. For me best keeper in the world."

A late penalty from Mario Balotelli earn City a point at the Etihad Stadium tonight, cancelling out Marco Reus's strike for the Germans.

Rooney was in Champins League action with United yesterday in their 2-1 victory over CFR Cluj.
