Sports Mole previews the Champions League Group H meeting between Manchester United and CFR Cluj at Old Trafford.

Manchester United welcome CFR Cluj to Old Trafford on Wednesday with the Romanian outfit still within a chance of joining United in the knockout stages of the Champions League.

A run of four wins from five Group H matches has left the home side top with 12 points, but Galatasaray and Cluj both have seven points.

A win for Cluj would be enough to book their spot in the next round of the competition should Galatasray, who travel to Portugal, fail to beat Braga. A point would also see them progress if the Turkish outfit lose.

Cluj have the consolation, however, of knowing that a Europa League spot will be theirs should they not secure their passage into the knockout stages of this competition.

United are expected to make big chances to their side ahead of the weekend trip to Manchester City. Nemanja Vidic could be handed a start, while Chris Smalling, Phil Jones and Ryan Giggs are also expected to take to the field.

Cluj, meanwhile, have an almost fully-fit squad to choose from and could select the same side that overcame Braga in their last Champions League meeting on November 20.

Recent form:

Manchester United: LLWWW
Cluj: LWWWD

Possible lineups:

Manchester United: De Gea; Jones, Smalling, Vidic, Buttner; Giggs, Scholes, Cleverley; Hernandez, Welbeck, Young

Cluj: Felgueiras; Maftei, Sepsi, Pinto, Cadu; Hora, Camora, Nicoara, Bastos; Pedro, Ronny

Sports Mole says: 2-0
