Manchester United's form 'hurts' Rio Ferdinand

Rio Ferdinand reveals on Twitter that he is "hurting" following Manchester United's 2-1 defeat in the Europa League away at FC Midtjylland.

Former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand has conceded that he is "hurting" following the club's recent run of form.

The Red Devils were defeated 2-1 by Danish minnows FC Midtjylland in the Europa League tonight, which means that Louis van Gaal's men have won just eight of their last 25 games in all competitions.

Asked by a fan on Twitter for his take on the situation, Ferdinand refused to comment other than to reveal that he felt dismayed.

Ferdinand made 455 appearances in all competitions during a 12-year spell as a United player.ID:266736: cacheID:266736:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:1604:No Data Analysis info
