Report: David de Gea injury not serious

A report claims that the early indication is that David de Gea's knee injury will not keep him out of action for too long.

The Manchester United medical staff are reportedly confident that David de Gea's injury is not anything serious.

The Spanish goalkeeper picked up a knee complaint during the warm-up ahead of United's Europa League clash away at FC Midtjylland.

He was unable to take his place between the posts, with Sergio Romero deputising in the 2-1 loss.

However, according to the Daily Mail, the initial feeling is that De Gea will not be sidelined for too long.

The report adds that the 25-year-old will undergo a scan and further assessment in Manchester tomorrow.
