Sir Alex Ferguson has revealed that Chris Smalling and Tom Cleverley could return from injuries in time for Manchester United's Europa League tie with Athletic Bilbao on Thursday.
Right-back Smalling missed today's win over Tottenham Hotspur with concussion that he sustained while on international duty.
Cleverley, whose injury problems have restricted him to just five league appearances this season, has been nursing a slight ankle complaint.
United will host Bilbao at Old Trafford, before travelling to Spain for the return leg seven days later.
