Real Sociedad could be without at least three players for Thursday's Europa League last-16 second-leg clash with Manchester United.
While Jon Pacheco (muscle) remains sidelined, both Luka Sucic (knee) and Jon Aramburu (foot) were unable to participate in training on Monday and have emerged as major doubts for the trip to Old Trafford.
However, Alvaro Odriozola and Arsen Zakharyan have both overcome fitness issues and could be in contention to feature in some capacity on Thursday.
Odriozola could be fit enough to replace Aramburu at right-back, but either Aritz Elustondo or Hamari Traore is more likely to get the nod and join Igor Zubeldia, Nayef Aguerd and Aihen Munoz in the back four.
Star midfielder Martin Zubimendi missed last week's 1-1 first-leg draw through illness, but he was fit to feature as a substitute in La Real's 1-0 La Liga loss to Sevilla on Sunday and could start on Thursday alongside Benat Turrientes and Brais Mendez, who scored in his only previous visit to Old Trafford in a 1-0 Europa League group-stage win in September 2022.
Mikel Oyarzabal scored an important equaliser from the penalty spot against Man United last week and after beginning as a substitute against Sevilla, the Spaniard is expected to be recalled in attack along with Takefusa Kubo and Ander Barrenetxea.
Real Sociedad possible starting lineup: Remiro; Elustondo, Zubeldia, Aguerd, Munoz; Turrientes, Zubimendi, Mendez; Kubo, Oyarzabal, Barrenetxea
