Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's injury and suspension news ahead of Sunday's FA Cup semi-final with Manchester United.

Chelsea continue their bid for silverware on Sunday evening when they take on Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-finals.

With the Blues having under-performed in the Champions League and EFL Cup, Frank Lampard will be desperate to earn a date with either Arsenal or Manchester City at the beginning of August.

However, the club legend has a number of factors to take into consideration when deciding on his starting lineup, including Chelsea's crucial double-header with Liverpool and Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League next week.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's injury and suspension news ahead of the showdown at Wembley Stadium.

N'Golo Kante

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: July 19 (vs. Man United)

With no risks having been taken on Kante in midweek, there is every expectation that he will be involved in the squad for Sunday. However, with Liverpool to follow on Wednesday, the Frenchman may be kept among the replacements.

Billy Gilmour

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

After suffering a knee injury against Crystal Palace last week, Gilmour will miss the rest of the season. With the academy graduate having undergone surgery, Lampard has predicted that the Scot may not return until November.

CHELSEA'S SUSPENSION LIST

Chelsea have no players suspended for this encounter.
