Manchester United could be without the services of Willy Kambwala, Sofyan Amrabat and Mason Mount for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final with Coventry City.

Manchester United will seemingly be without the services of Willy Kambwala, Sofyan Amrabat and Mason Mount for Sunday's FA Cup semi-final with Coventry City.

Red Devils head coach Erik ten Hag made no mention of potential fitness problems for the trio during his press conference on Friday afternoon.

However, the Dutchman did admit that the team "have some problems", with late decisions seemingly needing to be made on the players carrying knocks.

According to the Manchester Evening News, Kambwala, Amrabat and Mount were absent when the Man United squad boarded their train to London on Saturday.

The report claims that 18-year-old Louis Jackson has been promoted to the first-team squad, with Man United having severe issues in the middle of their defence in the latter stages of the season.

Kambwala, Amrabat, Mount could all miss Coventry clash

Kambwala was again set to start alongside Harry Maguire at centre-back against Coventry, with Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof on the sidelines.

However, it now appears that Casemiro could drop back into the middle of the defence against the Championship outfit due to the team's injury issues.

Mount has only just returned to action, with the England international recovering from a calf injury at the end of last month, but he could now be facing another spell on the sidelines.

Amrabat, meanwhile, has found it difficult to show his best form for Man United since arriving on loan from Fiorentina, and the 27-year-old is also now potentially facing time out.

Man United youngsters could have a role to play

Harry Amass, Habeeb Ogunneye and Ethan Wheatley have all seemingly been named in the squad alongside Jackson, with all four bidding to make their first-team debuts.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to continue at left-back, but an injury for the Englishman or Diogo Dalot could lead to the highly-rated Amass being pressed into action.

Despite the triple injury blow, Maguire appears to have been passed fit, with the centre-back recovering from the issue which he picked up against Bournemouth last time out.

Antony and Scott McTominay are also set to be involved, with the pair training this week, while Omari Forson and Amad Diallo have made the trip to London alongside their teammates.

Man United have won the FA Cup on 12 occasions, with their last success coming in 2016, while they lost to Manchester City in last year's final.
