How Manchester United could line up against Brighton & Hove Albion

Ahead of Saturday's Premier League game between Manchester United and Brighton & Hove Albion, Sports Mole looks at how the home side could line up at Old Trafford.

Manchester United head into their Premier League encounter with Brighton & Hove Albion on the back of six successive wins in all competitions.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have scored 17 goals and kept three clean sheets during that period, with United now sitting just six points adrift of the top four.

United play host to the Seagulls having earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium last Sunday.

The majority of the first-team squad will be hoping for a chance in the starting lineup on Saturday, and here Sports Mole looks at how Solskjaer's team could line up in the North-West.

Out: Marcos Rojo (unspecified)
Doubtful: Chris Smalling (ankle), Alexis Sanchez (thigh)

Alexis Sanchez could return to the squad after a thigh problem, but the forward is only expected to be selected among the substitutes.

Paul Pogba should remain in the team - despite being absent from training on Wednesday - while Romelu Lukaku is likely to stay on the bench due to the form of Marcus Rashford.

Nemanja Matic is expected to be available after his partner gave birth in midweek, and Eric Bailly will return to the 18-man squad after completing his three-match ban.

Solskjaer could decide to keep the same starting lineup, although Fred and Juan Mata are alternatives should the Norwegian opt to rest any of his first-choice players.
