Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has branded Cristiano Ronaldo "one of the best players that has ever walked on this planet".
The 36-year-old came up with a double against Atalanta BC in the Champions League on Tuesday night, including a last-gasp leveller, as the Red Devils stayed top of their section on seven points.
Ronaldo also starred in last weekend's 3-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League, scoring the opener before turning provider for Edinson Cavani.
The Portugal international has now registered nine times in 11 appearances for Man United since his return, and Solskjaer lavished praise on the forward when questioned ahead of Saturday's Manchester derby with Manchester City.
"He's one of the best players that has ever walked on this planet and his impact on and off the pitch has been absolutely immense, the way he conducts himself, how people can say that as a negative I can't see that one. He scores goals, works for his team, and is a top, top pro," Solskjaer told reporters.
The Man United boss has also provided an injury update on Victor Lindelof ahead of the clash with the reigning Premier League champions.
