Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Manchester United on Friday, July 10.

Manchester United must now turn their attention to the summer transfer window having left their business until late in January.

The Red Devils brought in Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo in the final days of the winter window but are still expected to be active in the summer as they aim to restore their former glories.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Old Trafford.

Friday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:

Paul Pogba dodges question over Man Utd future and focuses on trophies

Paul Pogba is focused on winning the FA Cup and Europa League rather than his Manchester United future.

The World Cup winner scored his first goal of an injury-ravaged campaign on Thursday, wrapping up a 3-0 Premier League win at embattled Aston Villa.

Pogba is playing with a smile on his face a year on from admitting his openness to a move away from Old Trafford, with the France international even reportedly willing to extend his deal.

Asked if he has had a change of heart about staying at the club, the 27-year-old told Sky Sports: "Right now, I've been injured for a very long time.

"I focused on myself to get back and help the team as much as I can.

"This year we have two goals: to go for the Europa League and the FA Cup. So, we focus on that."

Pogba's desire for a successful end to the season was a common theme in his post-match interview.

"We're really pleased with ourselves but we know we have to carry on," he said.

"We talk before the game, we talk in training that we have to carry on. That's what Manchester is.

"It's a big club and we want to keep the level up always.

"The performance today and the past few weeks, they are very good and they are the standard of Manchester United.

"Always (we have to keep our feet on the ground). We didn't win the Premier League. I mean, that's the goal.

"We didn't win anything this year, so obviously we have to keep working. There's a lot to do. A lot."

While Pogba added gloss to the final scoreline, Bruno Fernandes' penalty was the main talking point along with 18-year-old Mason Greenwood's latest stunning goal.

"It's very good," he said of the academy graduate. "I enjoy to see them play up front.

"I enjoy this kid in training and in the game and I will keep pushing him to be at the top.

"He has so much to do and he can do even more.

"What he's doing now is just his talent and he's showed he can play in this team."

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer 'gives Ed Woodward transfer wishlist'

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reportedly given executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward his transfer wishlist ahead of the summer window.

The Red Devils have been linked with a host of high-profile names in recent months, despite Woodward already warning that spending will be affected by the coronavirus lockdown.

The Telegraph reports that Solskjaer has now outlined which areas of his side he feels most need improvement ahead of a possible return to the Champions League next season.

Top of the list is thought to be a new right winger, with Borussia Dortmund's Jadon Sancho still the priority target amid reports that United have put money aside for the England international.

Solskjaer is also keen to bolster his ranks with a new centre-back to act as a partner for Harry Maguire, and a new centre-forward with loanee Odion Ighalo set to leave the club in January.

United had previously been tipped to move for a midfielder - with Jack Grealish, Saul Niguez and James Maddison among the names linked - but the return of Paul Pogba and form of Bruno Fernandes are thought to have lessened their need to strengthen in that area of the field.

United currently sit fifth in the Premier League table - a finish which would be good enough for Champions League qualification as things stand.
