Manchester United's Anderson denies that he has ever wanted to leave the club.

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has denied that he has ever been unhappy at the club.

The Brazilian recently admitted to being frustrated by a lack of progress at the club, but denied that he has ever wanted to leave Old Trafford.

"It's not true [about wanting to leave]," Anderson told reporters.

"Everyone knows I'm happy at the club. I've had a lot of injuries but I've
never let the smile go from my face.

"The only places you could go to from here are Real Madrid and Barcelona. You can't have another choice. The level at Manchester United is so big."

Anderson was signed from FC Porto in 2007.
