Daley Blind has revealed that he and his Manchester United teammates are feeling "very confident" heading into the new season.
The Red Devils have boosted their squad over the summer, with the likes of Memphis Depay, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan Schneiderlin all arriving at Old Trafford.
Following a successful pre-season campaign that has seen them win three out of four games, Blind is expecting United to challenge for silverware this term.
"We are very confident," the Netherlands international is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News. "I think we have a great squad and we played some good games in pre-season.
"I think if you look at the new players who joined us this season, they will add quality on the pitch. I think a club like Manchester United always has to play for prizes on the pitch."
United start the new Premier League campaign at home to Tottenham Hotspur on August 8.
