Ramon Calderon expects Carlo Ancelotti to stay at Real Madrid

Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon believes that Carlo Ancelotti will stay at the Bernabeu, despite being touted as the next Manchester United manager.

Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon believes that Carlo Ancelotti will opt to stay at the Bernabeu as opposed to moving to Manchester United.

The Italian has been touted as a potential candidate to replace David Moyes, who was sacked by the club on Tuesday.

However, Calderon is confident that Ancelotti, who is one win away from taking Madrid to the Champions League final, will honour his contract.

"I believe Carlo Ancelotti will be with Real Madrid next season," Calderon told talkSPORT. "He's got a contract. We don't know what's happening with Manchester United."

Netherlands boss Louis van Gaal is currently the bookmakers' favourite to take over at Old Trafford.
