Marouane Fellaini hits out at spitting allegations

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini insists that he did not spit at Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero.

Marouane Fellaini has rubbished suggestions that he spat on Sergio Aguero during yesterday afternoon's Manchester derby.

Footage was released following City's 1-0 victory which showed United midfielder Fellaini approach the Argentine as he laid on the ground, with some people going on to claim that it showed the Belgian deliberately spitting on the City striker.

However, the 26-year-old has taken to Twitter this afternoon to defend himself.

When asked about the incident during his post-match interview, United manager Louis van Gaal stood by his player.ID:186297: cacheID:186297:1false2false3false:QQ:: from db desktop :LenBod:restore:1690:No Data Analysis info
