A new TV prank show headed by Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand could be shown later this year.
Euro Wind-Ups, which could also feature Rio's teammate Wayne Rooney and Manchester City's Mario Balotelli, will feature players playing jokes on their teammates.
Hidden cameras could also be used to capture the action, in a spin off-of Rio's World Cup Wind-Ups, which was shown in 2006.
"This has the potential to be absolutely massive. A good prank is part of the dressing-room culture in the British game, so footballers are more than qualified to star in the show," a source told The Mirror.
The programme could coincide with the 2012 European Championships this summer.
