Sir Alex Ferguson says that Manchester United's game against Liverpool at Anfield will be decided by the "odd-goal".

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson believes that his side's game against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday will be a "tight" one.

The Red Devils will attempt to win against the Merseysiders at Anfield for the first time since December 2007.

"In tight games like this you know there are not going to be a lot of goals," Ferguson is quoted as saying on United's official website. "It will be an odd-goal victory for either side or maybe a draw

"Our away form last year was terrific, one of the best years we have had away from home. We hope that continues. We want to make sure we do our best and represent ourselves in the proper way.

"That is the key for us on Sunday, just to enjoy it. Once the whistle goes, go and win the game. That should be our attitude."

United are currently second in the league table with nine points from four matches.
