Darren Fletcher, who has been suffering with a bowel condition, will reportedly make a return to action for Manchester United's pre-season schedule.

Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher will reportedly return to action from a chronic bowel condition for the club's pre-season schedule.

The Scotland international, who has been suffering with the problem for the last 18 months, featured just 10 times for United last season.

It is believed that Fletcher will be ready to begin training under new manager David Moyes this July following a second operation in April, according to The Mirror.

The 28-year-old, who has not played at all this year, has two years left on his current deal with the Premier League champions.
