Report: David Moyes to activate Marouane Fellaini release clause

Reports suggest that Manchester United manager David Moyes is considering a move for Everton midfielder Marouane Fellaini.

Manchester United manager David Moyes is reportedly planning a raid on his former club for Belgian international Marouane Fellaini.

The Everton midfielder scored 11 goals in the Premier League this season - his best return since joining from Standard Liege in 2008 - and is expected to leave Goodison Park in the summer.

According to The Guardian, the retirement of Paul Scholes and uncertainty regarding Anderson and Darren Fletcher has led Moyes to consider triggering Fellaini's £24m release clause.

The 25-year-old recently hinted that he would be open to linking up with the Scot at Old Trafford.
