Manchester United have joined the race for Malaga playmaker Isco, according to reports in The Mirror.
The Spaniard is a target for rivals Manchester City, although the Premier League champions are believed to be considering an approach in the summer.
It is thought that the 21-year-old has a £30m buyout clause in his contract, which has tempted the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona as well as the English sides.
Isco has had an impressive season with Malaga, scoring 11 goals in 40 appearances as the side made it to the Champions League quarter-finals in their debut campaign.
His form has reportedly been monitored closely by scouts from Old Trafford, with suggestions that manager Sir Alex Ferguson is looking to replace Paul Scholes and Darren Fletcher.
