Club legend Ryan Giggs has suggested that he has concerns over the defensive ability of new Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes.
After signing for the club earlier this week, Fernandes played the full 90 minutes as United were held to a goalless draw by Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday night.
While acknowledging that the Portugal international showed glimpses of quality, Giggs has hinted that he wants to see more from the big-money arrival.
Speaking to Premier League Productions, the Welshman said: "You saw glimpses of the quality he does possess. I think it might need a bit of working out what his best position is.
"With his back to goal, I don't think that's his position. When he's a little bit deeper, defensively, he may be a bit of a liability. He's in between the two really."
United are not back in action until the visit to Chelsea on February 17.
