Ryan Giggs hails Manchester United depth

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs hails the depth available to manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has hailed his side's strength in depth as they close in on a record 20th Premier League title.

The Red Devils maintained their 12-point lead at the top of the table by beating Queens Park Rangers 2-0 on Saturday, with Giggs amongst the scorers in his 999th appearance for the club.

United are also still in the Champions League following a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in the first leg of their last-16 tie, and Giggs believes that the selection problem facing manager Sir Alex Ferguson ahead of the second leg next Tuesday is a good one.

"It is a headache for the manager but a good one," said Giggs. "We are not looking too far ahead and we are not getting too excited.

"But we are in good form and the manager has a big squad to choose from, which allows him to chop and change and that is all you can ask for at this stage."

United's next match comes against Norwich City on Saturday.
