Roy Hodgson insists that the Baggies can upset Manchester United.

Roy Hodgson has told his players that they are capable of picking up a result against Manchester United this afternoon.

Hodgson, whose West Bromwich Albion make the trip to Old Trafford, admits that he is glad to be going to Manchester with some momentum after last week's historic triumph over Premier League rivals Chelsea and their two wins prior to that.

"Morale is high," he said. "We all understand how difficult three straight wins in the Premier League is.

"It's going to be a tough ask at Old Trafford, but at least we go there with some wind in our sails. [A win] would be a sort of coming of age result for us.

"But to do that we'll have to perform well. That's the most important thing."

Meanwhile, Red Devils defender Chris Smalling has described the game as "a cup final".
